Join NowVisa Click to Pay refers to using one-click checkout when you make a purchase on a website, mobile app or another digital channel with your Stanford FCU credit or debit card. Click to Pay is an easy, smart and secure way to make online purchases.
We highly recommend that you set up your Stanford FCU credit and debit cards in Visa Click to Pay if you are planning to use them for online purchases.
You can create a Click to Pay payment profile online, or add your Stanford FCU credit or debit card to your profile when you carry out a transaction on a merchant’s website. The process will include the following:
When you shop at a participating online merchant, you’ll see one Click to Pay button instead of an array of checkout buttons. The button will display the Click to Pay arrow paired with a Visa logo. To make a purchase, you would simply enter your Click to Pay user ID (email address).
Your card will be protected with a one-of-a-kind digital identifier known as a token. It replaces the card data, including the credit card number, meaning this data isn’t floating around on the internet. This process eliminates the need for merchants to store your card information—information that cybercrooks can easily steal if one-click payment capabilities aren’t in place.
